Working with young children means working with families! Research tells us that parent involvement is critical to children’s educational success. In this two-part virtual training, participants will learn about working with parents and families as caregiving partners: when we engage with families in meaningful ways, we have more opportunities to work together as partners, improving child outcomes and our relationships. We will explore strategies for managing difficult conversations, understanding cultural and societal influences that affect families and how to support them, as well as improved overall communication and relationship building.
